Pennsylvania Poised to Attract Billions from New Industry Cluster

During a tour of Pittsburgh last November, Global Location Strategies Managing Principal Woody Hydrick was asked to present his perspective of the region’s investment in petrochemical production. Spearheaded by the region’s rich shale gas supply and an announcement made in March 2012 by Royal Dutch Shell to build a petrochemical plant in Western P.A., progress has been slow and questions have loomed large. But Hydrick assures regional economic development officials that their investment will pay off for a number of reasons.
