Hydrick Inducted to Prestigious Site Selectors Guild

Woody Hydrick, managing principal at Global Location Strategies, has been accepted into the Site Selectors Guild (SSG), the world’s foremost organization of location advisory consultants. Membership to SSG is exclusive to the most elite professionals in the business and individuals must be nominated and approved by their industry peers. Hydrick’s induction brings SSG’s worldwide membership to 43.

The mission of The Site Selectors Guild is to advance the profession of international corporate site selection by promoting the profession and providing education, networking and other services to those involved in the industry. As the first and only group of its kind, the Site Selectors Guild brings together a dynamic network of site selectors from around the world, combining their talent and expertise to create an invaluable resource, unmatched in its quality, for both corporations seeking site selection assistance and economic development organizations.

Over the course of his career, Hydrick has sited projects all over the world, representing billions of dollars in capital investments and thousands of jobs.  He has guided manufacturing location projects from Seattle to Singapore and from Baton Rouge to Beijing. He specializes in global deployment of industrial production assets across a number of verticals, including pharmaceuticals, automotive, steel, chemicals, and consumer products. He frequently speaks at professional forums across North America and Europe. Prior to joining GLS, Hydrick was the Managing Director for Cushman & Wakefield’s World Market Access business group.
